Activity: 

The Arran Trust were very supportive of a collaborative project to produce three short promotional videos covering Arran's geology, archaeology, and ecology.These can be downloaded for streaming and will promote all aspects of 'Arranlology'.  

The first aim of the project is to demonstrate a collaborative approach of all the bodies on Arran who deal with conservation and education. The second is to promote Arran's unique status as an Island Geopark. The third is to educate our residents on how special this island is, generating pride and respect.  

Outcome: 

This is a collaborative exercise /project which aims to bring the island's experts/enthusiasts together to produce an inspirational video highlighting some of the islands best parts for "ologies".  The project will support visitor management by focusing on spreading people around the island. Three teams of experts and film crew, will produce something which can be used by visitor/resident alike as an educational resource and means of Arranology promotion.
