Fisherman’s Walk

ACTIVITY

The purpose of the Brodick Promenade and Fisherman’s Walk project is to install walk infrastructure and to raise awareness of the walk which runs from Brodick Ferry Terminal to Brodick Castle through improved signage and marketing. Part of this larger project this application is specifically for extending the Fisherman's Walk boardwalk which will increase the length of the walk that is accessible for all and make the entire length of the walk more useable as this section can flood and become boggy.

OUTCOME

This application was a collaboration by VisitArran, The Arran Geopark, The Arran Access Trust with funding coming from them, and North Ayrshire.  The Arran Trust was pleased to be able to support this application which complimented previous Arran Access Trust projects.
