High Corrie to Goatfell footpath
ACTIVITY
By upgrading this stretch of footpath, we intend to stop further deterioration of this important and well used route, resulting in better walker experience and reduced damage and impact on the surrounding landscape. Funding from Arran Trust will allow both residents and visitors to benefit from the improved path, giving a more enjoyable and positive experience.
OUTCOME
By improving drainage and upgrading the surface of this path, - 244m of upgraded footpath and 6 piped culverts - we intend to keep damage around the path to a minimum, protecting the plant and animal life that live alongside the footpath.
